The last sum includes $7,500 for <br />administration, operation and maintenance and $.3,000 for replacement. <br />The construction costs. interest during construction and OM&R are <br />subject to allocation between the Fryingpan-Arkansas Project and <br />western-slope uses of the reservoir. <br /> <br />HYDROLOGY <br /> <br />Introduction <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />In terms of water supply and storage capacity, Ruedi Dam <br />and Reservoir will be more than a substitute for Aspen :Qam and <br />Reservoir. The water supply and storage space in Ruedi which is <br />not required for replacement purposes can serve beneficial uses <br />on the western slope in Colorado. The reservoir also would <br />provide uses and benefits for such associated functions as flood <br />control, fish and wildlife conservation, and recreation. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br /> <br />In view of the vast oil shale reserves in western Colorado, <br />the extensive investments made in experimentation and acquisition o:f' <br />shale lands, and the imminence of commercial oil shale development, <br />the tentative plan of operaHon adopted :f'or analysis in this report <br />is based on use of water for municipal and industrial purposes. <br />
