<br />00183~ <br /> <br />has assumed the responsibility as coordinating agency during the <br /> <br />progress of investigations and will keep the several agencies in- <br /> <br />formed of programs and plans for the State's development. They will <br /> <br />secure coordination between various agencies, review programs under- <br /> <br />way, prevent duplication of effort, and act as a clearing center <br /> <br />for usable information between agencies. Bureau of Reclamation in- <br /> <br />vestigations will be coordinated with those of the Corps of Engineers <br /> <br />in regard to flood control, and with the Department of Agriculture's <br /> <br />conservation programs and other State and Federal agencies as <br /> <br />necessary. <br /> <br />Interior agencies that will be involved in the Kansas Basins <br /> <br />Project include the Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Indian <br /> <br />Affairs, Bureau of Sport Fisheries and Wildlife, Bureau of Mines, <br /> <br />Geological Survey, Bureau of Outdoor Recreation, and the Federal <br /> <br />Water Pollution Control Administration. The coordination of work <br /> <br />items performed by these agencies will be the responsibility of the <br /> <br />Bureau of Reclamation. Some of the informational data to be pre- <br /> <br />sented by the above-mentioned agencies include: <br /> <br />a. Bureau of Land Mana~ement--Location and boundaries of Public <br /> <br />Lands which are under their jurisdiction and large tracts of land <br /> <br />that could be involved in land and water resource development. Also, <br /> <br />the plans and requirements for any water-use oriented improvements <br /> <br />of the land under their jurisdiction. <br /> <br />18 <br />
