Lake Mead storage reaches and flows over the top of raised <br />spillway gates in the late evening of July 2, the first spill since 194], when <br />releases were made to test the dam spillways. Reservoir system crests at 1225.83 <br />feet July 24 (4.43 feet above raised spil1way gates).
