<br />>, <br /> <br />~j <br /> <br />';' <br /> <br />The LSCC will receive policy guidance through the respective USDA state <br />offices involved in the project's implementation. The LSCC is composed <br />of a representative(s) from ASCS, CES, ses, the ASCS County Committee <br />(COC) , and the Conservation District (CD). Other USDA agencies, the <br />Bureau of Reclamation (USBR), Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Bureau <br />of Land Management (BLM), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as <br />well as other state and local agencies such as the Eden-Farson <br />Irrigation District will be encouraged to participate in an advisory <br />capacity. <br /> <br />The LSCC will facilitate overall project implementation and coordination <br />by: <br /> <br />1. Developing a process to ensure actions are taken to carry <br />out approved implementation plans. <br /> <br />r- <br />.",: <br />" <br />~;, <br /> <br />2. Assisting in development of criteria for the coe and CD to <br />use in identifying and establishing priorities for <br />servicing of CRBSC requests from individuals, groups, and <br />organizations for the development of salinity control <br />plans (SCP's) and CRBSC contracts. <br /> <br />3. Assisting in the development and implementation of project <br />monitoring and evaluation plans. <br /> <br />4. Assisting in the development and implementation of an <br />information and education program to promote producer <br />understanding and participation. <br /> <br />5. Assisting in the development and revision of the Project <br />Implementation Plan and annual progress reports. <br /> <br />The Lsce will keep all agencies and groups abreast of what is being <br />accomplished in the salinity control program. It will meet on a regular <br />(as needed) basis.
