Datum of gage is 7,980.25 ft above mean sea level, datum of <br />1929. Prior to May 16, 1908, staff gage at site 4 miles downstream. Records are equivalent. <br />Drainage area.--I,320 sq mi, approximately. <br />Averaqe discharge.--90 years (1890-1979), 897 ft3/s (649,900 acre-Et per year). <br />Extremes.--1889-1979: Maximum discharge! 18,000 ft3/s Oct. S, 1911 (gage height, 6.80 ft), from <br />rating curve extended above 12,900 ftJ/s; minimum daily, 69 ft3/s Aug. 21, 1902. <br />Remarks.--Records good except for some winter months, which are fair. Flow regulated by four <br />reservoirs, total capacity 126,100 acre-ft, and by several smaller ones. Datum of gage is 9,866.60 ft above mean sea <br />level (levels by BUreau of Reclamation). <br /> <br />Drainaqe area.--40 sq mi, approximately. <br /> <br />Averaqe discharge.--27 years (1953-79), 87.6 ft3/s (63,470 acre-ft per year). <br /> <br />Extremes.--1952_79: Maximum discharge, 1,160 ft3/s Nov. 1, 1957; maximum gage height, 4.29 ft <br />June IS, 1958; no flow Oct. 16-20, 1955. <br /> <br />Remarks.--Records good except those for winter months, which are fair.
