<br />The Am;ty Mutual Irr;gat;on Company <br /> <br />1430 <br /> <br />Pumping from wells on the Arkansas is to be severely regulated jf <br />il 1S shown that they inlerfer with direct flow rights on the river, accord- <br />ing to Mr. Kuiper, Colorado Slate Engineer, unless they can compensate Cor <br />water losses fo the river. This is being attempted by the members of the <br />Lower Arkansas Water Protective Association which proposes to supply <br />the loss by pumping, or purchase of water taken by the wells. <br /> <br />The dam on the Purgatoire at Trinidad probably will not be in opera- <br />tion this year but when completed will have the right to store 20,000 a.f. <br />oC irrigation water and have a 4,500 3.f. pool for recreation, fish and wild <br />liCe. The flood capacitj' will be used to regulate flood~ through Trinidad <br />and storage if John Martin Reservoir is filled. <br /> <br />The report of our Secretary sholljs cash receipls and disbursements <br />during lhe year.
