Construction of the project
will employ 5,000 workers
during the year of greatest
building activity in directly
related on-sile jobs and 3,500
workers in indirect jobs. Over
the total construction period.
about $57.9 million would be
spent In construction worker
wages, $36 i million in govern-
ment wages, and an additional
568.1 million in indirect wages
of which more than 70 percent
\\;ll remain in the four-count\'
project area. These jobs and -
the income deri\'cd from them
will stimulate the economv of
the project area. ,\tost of the
construction force will come
from within the project area
and, consequentl\', will not in-
crease the population or place
additional demands on housing,
utilities or other services.

quired. Jordanellc Reservoir
construction will necessitate
the relocation of about 38
families (100 people) and their
homes. various business~s and
ranches. and other properties.
The people who will be :lffected

eral L'mform Relocation Assis-
tance and Land Aquisition
Policies Act of 1970. The
Bureau has prepared a prelimi-
nary' relocation plan and has
held public meetings to inform
the people invoh'ed. Tempor-
