Let us give the world a light and the world will find iits way back to sanity. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />As I said, that is your task, That is your challenge. You are the light of the world, <br />Ch rist said so. <br /> <br />It has become increasingly important that citizens arrange their time and their lives <br />so that they can make their contribution in public service. If our Mormon friends can do' <br />it, with their missionary system and their lay preachers.,. then'citizens can do it for their <br />government. Perhaps all can't take time to be a Mayor, 'a Congressman, or a Governor, <br />or a Senator, but there's school boards, and councils and boards and commissions and <br />work to do to keep ou r cou ntry strong, and safe and sou nd. <br /> <br />It is my honest belief that God has entrusted us personally and individually with a <br />particular mission to perform. And the sober startling fact is that.it may make a difference <br />to all eternity what YOU do. i <br /> <br />The Chinese have a pertinent saying that a journey of a thousand miles starts with <br />one step. <br /> <br />..-i <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />What you do or fail to do will strengthen or weaken your world just that much. <br /> <br />Isn't it strange that princes, and kings and clowns that caper in sawdust rings,and <br />common folk like you and me, are builders for eternity. i To each is given a bag of tools, a <br />shapeless mass, and a book of rules, and each must ereilife has flown, fashion a stumbling <br />block or a steppi ng stone.
