D. 1843, the said Governor granted said <br /> <br /> <br />petition. and that thereafter and in accordance with the directions <br /> <br />of the said Governor the said petitioners were on or about~ to wit. <br /> <br />the 12th. day of January, A. D. 1844, placed in juridical possess- <br /> <br /> <br />ion of said above described premises. and that all the aforesaid <br /> <br /> <br />proceedirgs were duly had and taken in accordance with the laws. <br /> <br /> <br />usages and customs of the Republ ic of Mexico then in force. by <br /> <br /> <br />which said proceedi~s the said Louis Lee and Narciso Beaubien <br /> <br /> <br />became vested with all the property rights of every kind and <br /> <br /> <br />nature whatsoever of the Government of Mexico in and to said <br /> <br />tract of Ian::!. <br /> <br /> <br />And your orator further shows that by the Treaty of Guadalupe <br /> <br /> <br />Hidaigo, ratified by the Senate of the United States on or about <br /> <br />., <br />,-;" <br />
