Oen",cl, ~ti'lrtin9 <br />at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July <br />6, <br />The two groups are meeting <br />to discuss possible transfer of <br />the Amity storage from the <br />Kiowa County lakes south of <br />Eads to the John Martin <br />Reservoir. <br />Conservancy District <br />Attorney Charles J. Beise <br />commented at the May. 18 <br />meeting of the Board of <br />"Directors on telephone <br />conversations he had had with I <br />representatives from the Amity <br />Canal Company: James <br />Wagner, Denver, Director from <br />Prowers and Kiowa Counlies, <br />and F, L. Sparks, Director, <br />. Colorado Water Conser~iltjon <br />Board, regardmg matters or <br />mutual interest. He urged that <br />the Board invite officials from <br />the Amity Canal and Sparks to <br />attend a future Board meeting, <br />in order that the entire matter <br />might be discussed.
