<br />The two groups are meeting
<br />to discuss possible transfer of
<br />the Amity storage from the
<br />Kiowa County lakes south of
<br />Eads to the John Martin
<br />Reservoir.

<br />meeting of the Board of
<br />"Directors on telephone
<br />conversations he had had with I
<br />representatives from the Amity
<br />Canal Company: James
<br />Wagner, Denver, Director from
<br />Prowers and Kiowa Counlies,
<br />and F, L. Sparks, Director,
<br />. Colorado Water Conser~iltjon
<br />Board, regardmg matters or
<br />mutual interest. He urged that
<br />the Board invite officials from
<br />the Amity Canal and Sparks to
<br />attend a future Board meeting,
<br />in order that the entire matter
<br />might be discussed. He said he
<br />was most impressed with Ule
<br />U.S. Geological Survey report
<br />during the morning session,
<br />and feels the data and the
<br />opportunities for Computer
<br />Studies will be very helpful in
<br />analyzing the Amity Proposal,
<br />'according to the minutes of the
<br />meetmg.
<br />The minutes went on to
<br />'record, Legislative Committee
<br />Chairman Wagner reported on
<br />'his conversations with
<br />, representatives from the Amity
<br />Company, and feels that a
<br />meeting with them will be very
<br />helpful in not only discussing
<br />the Amity Program, but the
<br />entire Arkansas River Basin
<br />manilgement concept.

<br />Southeastern Colorado Water
<br />Conservancy District are at 905

<br />President Eldon Gulley \
<br />reported he is forming a
<br />delegation frorn the county to
