':, <br /> <br />'\ <br /> <br />, <br />-. <br /> <br />TRINITY RIVER BULLETIN ISSUED <br /> <br />Bulletin 94-2, "Land and Water Use in Trinity River <br />Hydrographic Unit," was issued as'the second of a series of reports <br /> <br />on watersheds in the State. <br /> <br />ENGINEER BECOMES DIRECTOR OF COMMISSIONS <br /> <br />Robert B. Bond, Department engineer for the past 15 years, <br />was named executive director of the California-Nevada, Klamath <br /> <br />River and California Goose Lake compact commissions. <br /> <br />BIDS SUBMITTED FOR OROVILLE HOUSING <br /> <br />Nomellini Construction Co. of Stockton submitted an <br />apparent low bid of $659,095 to the Department for construction of <br />state employee housing near the Oroville Dam site. <br />The job involves the construction of 50 three-bedroom <br />portable houses two miles east of Oroville for lower salaried <br />state employees required to live near the dam site. <br /> <br />CO-OPERATIVE GROUND WATER MEASUREMENT PROGRAM ANNOUNCED <br /> <br />Sacramento County has entered into a co-operative ground <br />water measurement program with the Department. Starting next fall, <br />the county will measure 125 wells each year. Data will be used by <br />the Department to help prepare ground water contour maps. <br /> <br />DELTA MEASUREMENT DEVICES INSTALLED <br /> <br />A continuous-flow measurement system was installed during <br />the month in the Sacramento River l~ miles downstream from <br />Pittsburg to measure the outflow from the Sacramento-San Joaquin <br />Delta.
