<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />5. ~~~ions Responsibilities. The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation shall be <br /> <br />responsible for operation of the project for flood control. <br /> <br />a. The Project Superintendent is responsible for: <br /> <br />(1) Accomplishing the physical operation of the reservoir and <br /> <br />associated facilities in accordance with the official regulations. <br /> <br />(2) Advising the District Engineer, Albuquerque District, Corps <br /> <br />of Engineers, of any need for emergency change in operation. <br /> <br />(3), Annually inspecting channel conditions to determine any deteri- <br /> <br />oration in flow capacities which ,,'ould inhibit releases. <br /> <br />(4) Reporting to the District Engineer, Albuquerque District, any <br /> <br />unusual condition in th(.; reservoir or along do\-mstrcam c}lann81s that might <br /> <br />temporarily interfere with t.hc planned flood control opcl:o.tion of the <br /> <br />reservoir. <br /> <br />(5) Keeping dO\n1str8ilffi interests advised of impending changes in <br /> <br />flood control releases 'which might affect them. <br /> <br />(6) Reporting by telephone to the Flood Plain Hanagement and <br /> <br />Hydraulics Branch, Engineering Division, Albuquerque District, the data <br /> <br />outlined in paragraph 8(a) below, and other data that may be requested <br /> <br />from time to time., <br /> <br />,(7) Keeping informed of the rules and regulations contained in <br /> <br />these instructions and bringing to the attention of the District Engineer, <br /> <br />Albuquerque District, any feature contained herein that may require clari- <br /> <br />fication or revision. <br /> <br />(8) Immediately after the ,end of each month, 'transmitting to the Flood <br /> <br />,Plain Hanagement and Hydraulics Branch! Engineering Division, Albuquerque <br /> <br />District, data specified in paragraph 8b below. <br /> <br />3 <br />
