RELATED STATUTES AND FEDERAL LAWS <br /> <br />33-1-101 Legislative Declaration. <br /> <br />It is the policy of the state of Colorado that the ~ildlife and their <br />environment and the natural, scenic, scientific, and outdoor recreation <br />areas of this state are tDreprolECted., preserved, enhanced, and managed for <br />the use, benefit, and enjoyment of the people of this state and visitors <br />to this state. It is further declared to be the policy of this state <br />that there shall be provided a comprehensive program of outdoor recrea- <br />tion in order to offer the greatest possible variety of outdoor recrea- <br />tion opportunity to the people of this state and its visitors and that <br />to carry out such program and.po1icy there shall be a continuous opera- <br />tion of planning, acquisition, and development of outdoor recreation lands, <br />waters, and facilities. <br /> <br />33-8-102 Legislative Declaration. <br /> <br />The general assembly finds and declares that it is the policy of this <br />state to manage all nongame ~ildlife, recognizing the private property <br />rights of individual property o~ners, for human enjoyment and welfare, <br />fur 5ci~ntific purposes, and to insure their perpetuation as members of <br />~cosyst~ms; that species or subspecies of wildlife indigenous to this <br />state which may be found to be endangered or threatened within the state <br />should be ~~corded protection in order to maintain and enhance their <br />numbers to the extent possible; that this state should assist in the <br />protection of species or subspecies of ~ildlife which are deemed to be <br />endangered or threatened else~here; and that adequate funding be made <br />available to the division of wildlife annually by appropriations from <br />the general fund and that portion of the wildlife cash fund.collected <br />pursuant to the provisions of section 33-1-126 for management of nongame, <br />endanger~d, or threatened species. <br /> <br />PL 75-415-& PL 91-503 The Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration Act <br /> <br />AJ sO known as the Pittman-Robertson Act. <br /> <br />33-2-104 Assent to state Pittman-Robertson Act.. <br /> <br />PL 81-681 The Federal Aid in Fish Restoration Act <br /> <br />Also known as the Dingell-Johnson Act. <br /> <br />33-2-105 Assent to Dingell-Johnson Act <br /> <br />24 <br />
