<br />, <br /> <br />3. Repoet Specifications <br /> <br />a. All final eepoets should be submitted on plain white <br />papee measueing 8-1/2 inches by 11 inches in size. <br /> <br />b. All tables. maps and figures should be capable of being <br />folded to 8-1/2 inches by 11 inches in size. <br /> <br />c. Roman numerals should be used foe chapter numbering <br />starting with Chaptee I - Introduction. <br /> <br />d. All pages in the text. starting with Chapter I. should <br />be numbered consecutively using arabic numeeals. All <br />pages peeceding the introduction should be numbered <br />using italics. <br /> <br />e. All narrative infoemation should be peinted on the <br />front and back of each page. <br /> <br />f. The top and side margins should be one inch and the <br />bottom margin should be one and one-half inches. The <br />page number should be three quarters of an inch from <br />the bottom and centered. <br /> <br />g. Line spacing for the text of the report should be one <br />and one-half spaces. <br /> <br />h. All tables should be placed in sequence with the text. <br />rather than at the end of the chapter. Tables should <br />be numbered by chapter numbee and by order of <br />presentation. For example. the first table in Chapter <br />I would be Table I-I. <br /> <br />i. Figures may be placed at the end of the chapter in <br />which the figure is first peesented oe in sequence with <br />the text. Either method may be used but the placement <br />of figures will be the same in each chapter of the <br />report. Figures should be numbered by chapter number <br />and by oeder of presentation. For example. the first <br />figure in Chapter I would be Figure 1-1. <br /> <br />j.
