The BLM has consistently placed higher emphasis on point source control of salts over nonpoint <br />sources, and we expect to continue this approach. We will continue to report all well plugging <br />activities that result in salt reductions to the Colorado River system. <br /> <br />We appreciate the Advisory COWlcil's encouraging words and recommendations concerning the <br />BLM's continuing salinity reduction efforts.
