Sterling, November 13 -- A Congressional Committee bearing

on the proposed Narrows Unit, Colorado, will be held in Fort.

Morgan as scheduled on Monday, November 25, in the assembly room

of the Morgan County REA Building.. This was the word today from

Donald W. Hamil, president of the Lower South Platte Water Conserv- -

ancy District, sponsor of the project.

"We have been advised by the staff of the Sub-committee on

Irrigation and Reclamation in Washington," Hamil said, "that the

hearing on November 25 will open at 9:00 a.m., recess for lunch

from .12 to one 0' clock, then continue for two hours,. with adjourn-

.ment scneduled for 3 o'clock".

Hamil also stated that the message from Washington indicated

that committee rules specify that all persons who wish to testify

at the hearing should make their desire known in advance to Sidney

L. McFarland, Staff Director, .House Committee on Interior and In-

This applies whether the testimony is for against the proposed
