It is <br /> <br /> <br />further provided in the treaty that the water delivered to Mexico <br /> <br /> <br />through the AD.-American Canal shall be a part of the total Colorado <br /> <br /> <br />River water allocated to Mexico by the treaty. <br /> <br /> <br />Historically, Mexico schedules the minimum delivery of 900 cfs <br /> <br /> <br />during the winter months. <br /> <br /> <br />E. Objectives <br /> <br /> <br />Studies conducted in connection with this report were directed <br /> <br /> <br />toward attaining the following objectives: <br /> <br /> <br />(1) Reduction of the peak salt concentration in Colorado <br /> <br /> <br />River water delivered to Mexico at Morelos D8IIl at the <br /> <br /> <br />earliest date. <br /> <br /> <br />(2) Maintenance of adequate drainage on the Wellton-Mohawk <br /> <br /> <br />Division and other projects downstream from Imperial Dam <br /> <br /> <br />in Arizona and California. <br /> <br /> <br />(3) Regulation of water deliveries to Mexico within the <br /> <br /> <br />requirements of the master schedule and treaty <br /> <br /> <br />provisions. <br /> <br /> <br />(4) Determination of probable future quality of water that <br /> <br /> <br />will be delivered to Mexico under the plan of development <br /> <br /> <br />proposed herein. <br /> <br />\ <br /> <br />6 <br />
