Such projects are <br />Federal reclamation facilities <br />established for the protection and <br />drainlllle works along the lower <br />Colorado River. The following is a list of <br />projects for which Federal reclamation <br />project \lie power i. relOrved: relift and <br />drainase pumps, conctruction camp <br />sites, Yuma-Mesa Irrisation and <br />Drainage District, Gila Project drainase <br />pumps. Wellton-Mohawk Irription and <br />DraiDage District Plant Noc. 1, Z. and 3, <br />and the Colorado River Front Work and <br />Levee System. <br />Power for irriptiOD pumPID8 OD <br />certain Indian II1II& is defined for the.e <br />Criteria to mean Federal capacity and <br />energy e.tablished herein for UlOiD <br />irrigation pumplD8 on Indian irription <br />projects which are..djacent to the lower <br />Colorado River lOuth of Davis Dam and <br />north of the border between the United <br />-Slates and Mexico. <br />When poiority use power ic reque.ted, <br />Western will eubstantiate that the <br />power to be withdrawn will be used for <br />the above epecified purposec, and then <br />will withdraw the neceuary amount of <br />power upon a 2-year advance notice. <br />Withdrawal. of power will be made 81 <br />roque.tad and .ubstantiated until the <br />total smount of power reoerved for <br />priorily use purpocea it in use, <br />Power surplus to that relOrved for <br />United Slate. priority usee and that <br />roserved for allocation to the existing <br />conlracloa will be available for <br />.'IOO4IIiaa to now or CUJTellt conlractore <br />in ac:c:orduce with prefenmce <br />provlalaal of aection lI(c) of the <br />Reclamation Project Act of 1939, in the <br />following order of priority: <br />1, Prefenmce entitiec within the <br />Boulder City marketing area: <br />2.
