information obtained from Objectives ~-3. Macroinvertebrates will not
be collected for two reasons: 1) macroinvertebrate abundance and
diversity appear to be adequate in the Price River, since it supports
\\goo~" numbers of native fishes and 2) the cost of enumeration/sample.

Obiective 5. Data obtained from Objectives 1-3 (e,g" distribution
and abundance patterns of native and nonnative fishes) I basic
physicochemical data (Objective 4). additional available physical,
chemical, historic and present hydrological .(e.g., frequency, virgin
flows, overall contribution to the Green River, etc.), and biological
data from the Price River will be synthesized from U.S, Geological
Survey, Utah State Department of Health, and other available sources.
This information will help determine the overall contribution and
biological importance of the Price River to endangered fishes and the
importance of the Price River to the Green River system (as compared to
other Green River tributaries) .

VII, Task Description (FY 1996):

As outlined above. Each objective represents a task.

VIII.
