Rentrup and Pope reiterated Kansas' position that <br />the 1951 Resolution applied to th., operation of Puehlo <br />Reservoir. Mr. Pope stated that the federal government has an <br />obligation to operate the r~servoir in compli;nce with the <br />Compact as well as state law. Mr. Thom3on briefly reviewed the volunta y <br />winter storage program ann staten that Kansas han heen on the <br />mailing list since the heginning of the winter storage program <br />and had been advised on a regular hasis. <br /> <br />Mr. Bentrup acknowledgen that they han been kept infr-ncn, <br />but stated again that the Anministration should have input ;nto <br />the operation of Pueblo Reservoir hoth with respect to winter <br />storage, as well as flood flows originating above the reservoie. <br /> <br />Me Pope asked if Mr. Thomson objected to submitting an <br />operating plan to the Administration for its consineration. Mr. <br />Thomson stated that he could do that. Mr. McDonald stated that <br />he wanted the record to be clear that Colorado has no objection <br />to the Administration discussing, reviewing, ann commenting on <br />any such plan.
