., . . , , i MINUTES OF THE ARKANSAS RIVER COMPACT ADMINISTRATION REGULAR ANNUAL MEETING December 14, 1982 Cow Palace Inn, Lamar, Colorado The regular annual meeting df the Arkansas River Compact Administration was held at the cciw Palace Inn in Lamar, Colorado, on December 14, 1982. The meeting was called to order at 9:50 a.m. (MST) by Mr. Frank G. Cooley, Chairman and United States representative. Other members in attendance were: For Kansas: Carl E. Bentrup--Deerfield, Kansas Guy E. Gibson--Topeka, Kansas Ronald Olomon--Garden City, Kansas For Colorado: Carl Genova--Pueblo, Colorado Leo Idler--Lamar, Colorado J. William McDonald--Denver, Colorado Mr. Bentrup introduced the Kansas members of the Administration, Mr. John Campbell from the office of the Kansas Attorney General, and persons in the audience from Kansas. Mr. McDonald introduced the Colorado members of the Administration, members of his staff, and Mr. William Paddock from the office of the Colorado Attorney General. Mr. Cooley asked if there were any changes to the agenda for the meeting (see Attachment A). There being none, Mr. Olomon moved, seconded by Mr. McDonald, that the agenda be approved without change. There being no discussion, the motion passed upon the affirmative vote of both states. With respect to agenda item 3, the approval of minutes was deferred until after the noon recess in order to give the members of the Administration an opportunity to review the minutes which had just been provided to them. Under agenda item 4, the reports of officers, Mr. Cooley indicated that he had no report to make. Mr. Idler, Recording Secretary, presented his written report (see Attachment B). After brief discussion, Mr. Genova moved, seconded by Mr. Bentrup, that the report be approved and received into the record. There being no further discussion, the motion passed upon the affirmative vote of both states. 149 arca/min (12/14/82)
