The House bill has been referred <br />to the Committee on Resources and the Senate bill has been referred to the Committee on Energy and <br />Natural Resources, <br /> <br />Atlas Corooration Mine Tailinl!:s <br /> <br />Last month, on behalf of the Board I wrote a letter to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and <br />the Environmental Protection Agency expressing the Board's concern regarding the radioactive and <br />other contaminates that are leaching into the Colorado River from Atlas Corporation's uranium mine <br />tailings site, near Moab, Utah.
