In addition, USFS requests a high flow between May 1 and July
15 of at least 70% of bankfull and up to 120 % of bankfull to maintain habitat and move
sediment in stream. Stream is badly eroded as the result of a dam failure in the past.

93D Dodgeton Creek
QP at sec 4 - 31S - 69W; 200 yards upstream from the Cuchara Water intake
Amount: A CWCB instream flow recommendation needs to be made and would likely
be deemed acceptable.

93E White Creek
QP at sec 35 - 30S - 69W; 100 yards upstream from the south section line (forest
boundary)
Amount: A CWCB instream flow of 3 cfs year round is acceptable at the QP. Nice dam
site on this stream.

931

Baker Creek
QP at sec 17 - 31S - 69W; 100 yards upstream from the ski area water rights in
approximately the center of the section
Amount: A CWCB instream flow recommendation needs to be made and would likely
be deemed acceptable.

93J South Fork Baker Creek
QP at sec 16 - 31S - 69W; 100 yards upstream from the forest boundary in
approximately the center of the section
Amount: A CWCB instream flow recommendation needs to be made and would likely
be deemed acceptable.

93K Cucharas Creek
QP at sec 22 - 31S - 69W; at the forest road
Amount: A CWCB instream flow recommendation needs to be made and would likely
be deemed acceptable. In addition, USFS requests a high flow between May I and July
15 of at least 70% of bankfull and up to 120 % of bankfull to maintain habitat and move
sediments in stream, Group okay with this request as there are no private lands upstream
of the QP,

STATUS:
The USFS needs to complete data collection on the 14(?) remaining streams for which
no data to make recommendations from exists. Instream flow recommendations then need to be
made by CDOW, in cooperation with USFS, on the 20 streams for which no recommendations
currently exist. The USFS needs to provide a written summary of their high flow requests and
the workgroup needs to meet, review these requests, and come to agreement on how the high
flow requests should work and be administered so everyone has a clear understanding of how
much water remains. The CWCB, CDOW and USFS need to agree on which streams have
Greenback Cutthroat Trout in them as soon as possible.

8

" I
.,~ d
