<br />.. <br /> <br />',I <br /> <br />.t' ~ <br />..... ~ .. .:. .l <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />-6- <br /> <br />(b) TRANSFERS OF ADMINISTRATION. -- <br /> <br />(1) GUNNISON NATIONAL FOREST. -- Any lands and interests <br />therein within the boundary of the Recreation Area which were <br />formerly within the exterior boundary of the Gunnison National <br />Forest are hereby excluded from such national forest and <br />transferred to the administrative jurisdiction of the Secretary <br />for the purposes of the Recreation Area, and the boundaries of the <br />national forest are adjusted accordingly. <br /> <br />(2) BUREA.U Or RECLAMATION. -- All lands, waters, and <br />interests therein formerly under the iurisdiction and <br />administration of the Bureau of Reclamation which are not included <br />within the boundary of the Recreation Area shall continue to be <br />administered or disposed of by the Secretary in accordance with <br />the Act of October 21, 1976 (90 Stat. 2744; 43 U.S.C. 1701). <br /> <br />(3) 8LM. -- All lands, waters, and interests therein <br />formerly under the Jurisdiction and administration of the Bureau <br />of Land Management which are not included within the boundary of <br />the recreation area shall continue to be administered or disposed <br />of by the Secretary in accordance with the Act of October 21, <br />1976 (':10 Stat. 2744; 43 [J.S.C. 1701). <br /> <br />(c) A.DMINISTRATION. -- <br /> <br />(1) IN GENERAL. -- The Secretary shall administer, protect, <br />and develop the Recreation Area in accordance with the purposes <br />outlined in section 101(d) of this Act and the Act of April 11, <br />1956 (70 Stat. 105). <br /> <br />(2) SPECIfIC ACTIVITIES. -- In carrying out the functions <br />prescribed by this section, in addition to other related activities <br />that may be permitted within the Recreation Area, the Secretary <br />may provide for the following activities, subject to such <br />limitations, conditions, or regulations as he may prescribe, and to <br />such extent as will not be inconsistent with either the <br />recreational use or the primary use of that portion of the area <br />heretofore withdrawn for water storage and power generation <br />purposes: <br /> <br />(A) General recreation uses, such as swimming, <br />boating, camping, and picnicking. <br /> <br />(8) Grazing. <br />(C) Road and utility rights-of-way. <br />
