<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ :.~ <br /> <br />"( <br /> <br />-13- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Such other arrangements may include, but are not limited to, <br />financing of the uprating by the United States and allocation of <br />capacity to Colorado lJte Electric Association, Inc., and it <br />assigns, marketinR of the benefits of such uprating to Colorado <br />Ute Electric Association, Inc. and its assigns, or other <br />marketing of such henefits which provides Colorado Ute Electric <br />Association, Inc. and its assigns with benefits acceptable to <br />Colorado Ute Electric Association, Inc. <br /> <br />(2) Such right and option of Colorado Ute Electric <br />Association, Inc. shall expire 6 months from the date the U.S. <br />Bureau of Reclamation notifies Colorado Ute Electric Association, <br />Inc. of its intention to proceed with such uprating, or 6 months <br />from the date of enactment of this Act, which ever is later. If <br />operation of such uprated capacity for the benefit of Colorado <br />Ute Electric Association, Inc. results in any loss of energy <br />available to the Western Area Power Administration from the Wayne <br />N. Aspinall Unit of the Colorado River Storage Project, such <br />energy shall be replaced by Colorado Ute Electric Association, Inc. <br /> <br />TITLE VI -- MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS <br /> <br />Sec. 601. EFFECT ON EXISTING RIGHTS. <br /> <br />No provision of this Act shall be construed as terminating any <br />valid lease, permit, patent, right-or-way, or other land use right <br />or authorization existing on the date of approval of this Act. <br /> <br />Sec. 602. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. <br /> <br />Ef fee t i ve Dc tober 1, 1986, there is hereby author i zed to be <br />appropriated such sums as may he necessary to carry out the <br />development of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park <br />Complex. <br /> <br />-0- <br />
