The following items of work will be furnished by
the Owner.

Baseline survey for basic project control.

>

Quality Assurance Testing of all onsite earthwork and concrete materials placed.

Non-potable water for use in moisture conditioning fills may be obtained from the inflow water
rights owned by the City of Greeley. The Contractor shall supply all materials and equipment
to store and convey the water.

IA.4. CONTOUR VERIFICATION. The earthwork scope for bidding and contract purposes shall be
based on the Engineer's drawings which show existing contours and elevations obtained by ground
surveys.

Before the original ground has been disturbed, the Contractor shall verify the contours indicated on the
drawings by making field ground surveys. The Contractor shall then furnish the Owner with a
certified and signed document stating that the existing contours are as indicated on the drawings or
make a claim to the Owner for adjustment on the basis of his field ground surveys which will be
verified by the Owner before construction work is started.

Verification of contours shall be at the Contractor's option; however, failure to do so constitutes
acceptance of the contours and elevations by the Contractor.

...'"END OF SEcnON ....

IA-2
92-m4

I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
