FEMA and local staff would be <br />available to ~ffer technical adyice and assistance to the state in preparing <br />the Hazard Mitigation Plan. <br /> <br />In sumnlary, the Hazard Mitigation Section 406 Plan (Hazard Mitigation Plan) <br />seeks to achieve several objectives, primarily: <br /> <br />1. To follow-up, in detail, recolnmendations of the feaeral/state/local <br />and Interagency Task Force Teams as discussed in the Interagency <br />Hazard Mitigation Report. <br /> <br />2. To establish both immediate and long term pla~ning frameworks for <br />implementation of hazard mitigation efforts. <br /> <br />3.
