<br />The preconstruction planning for the Little Blue River channel in Missouri, <br /> <br />. <br />continued in fiscal year 1971 and will be completed in fiscal year 1972. <br /> <br />< <br /> <br />Land acquisition for the Little Blue Dams and Lakes, Kansas City, Missouri, <br /> <br />was initiated in fiscal year 1971. Acquisition will continue in fiscal years <br />1972 and 1973. Preconstruction planning continues. <br /> <br />Preconstruction planning for the Smithville local flood control project was <br /> <br />completed during fiscal year 1971. Construction is scheduled for fiscal <br /> <br />year 1972. <br /> <br />The Smithville Dam and Lake continued under preconstruct ion planning in <br /> <br />fiscal year 1971 and will continue in the planning phase during fiscal year <br />1972. <br /> <br />During fiscal year 1971, preconstruction planning continued on the Brookfield <br /> <br /> <br />Dam and Lake project. Planning will continue in fiscal years 1972 and 1973. <br /> <br />Land acquisition at the Pattonsburg Dam and Lake project for' the 1-35 High- <br /> <br /> <br />way crossing was initiated in fiscal year 1971. Construction of the highway <br /> <br /> <br />crossing is scheduled to start in fiscal year 1972 and continue in fiscal <br /> <br /> <br />year 1973.
