<br />Mr. McMullin called on C. C. Tabor, member of the Board of <br />Direct'ors and outstanding humorist of the Association, who entertained <br />the delegates with his sparkling wit and satires. <br /> <br />******* <br /> <br />Raymond Matthew, Chairman of the Nominating Committee, pre- <br />sented the suggested nominations for Officers of the Colorado River Water <br />Users' Association for the year of 1959. Upon motion duly made and <br />seconded, the following Officers were approved by acclamation. <br /> <br />John B. Barnard, Sr., President <br />E. W. Yorke, Vice President <br />Philip P. Smith, Secretary-Treasurer <br /> <br />(Colorado) <br />(Arizona) <br />(Colorado) <br /> <br />Mr. Barnard, in a brief acceptance speech, expressed his appre- <br />ciation to the membership for the honor they bestowed on him and pledged <br />his support to the aims and purposes of the Association. <br /> <br />******* <br /> <br />The City of Las Vegas, Nevada, was selected for the convention <br />site of the 16th Annual Meeting by the membership.
