<br />", <br /> <br />demands of Colorado and Kansas irrigators who were experiencing <br />very short moisture conditions for the second year. The new <br />artificial control station below John Hartin, and its stage <br />discharge rating data was established early in June, too late for <br />release of conservation water, but did definitely prove to be an <br />asset in administration for the irrigation season. <br /> <br />The other compact stations accuracy continues to be a <br />problem due to channel obstructions, silting, grass, brush and <br />beaver dams. The high frequency radio equipment at the gauging <br />stations was a continuous maintenance problem as the transmitters <br />are nearly worn out. <br /> <br />Storage to-date is 3,354 acre feet with the gates <br />completely closed since 10:00 a.m. November 19, 1975. <br /> <br />For Operations Committee: <br />Harry Bates, Jr., Chairman <br />Carl E. J. Kuiper, Colorado State Engineer, and Mr. Robert Jesse, <br />Division Engineer, were notified of this action and that adminis- <br />tration of decreed water rights for Colorado would commence on <br />April 12, 1975, unless a change of conditions justified cancel- <br />lation or modification of this notice., <br /> <br />The reservoir became empty at 9:00 p.m., April 12, 1975. <br /> <br />participating members: For Colorado: Mr. Bates and <br />Mr. Tempel <br /> <br />-,3- <br />
