If the project

or unit is being operated essentially as envisioned at the

time of the allocation, the allocation of multipurpose OM&R

to project functions is usually in the same proportions as

the investment cost allocations. If current operations are

materislly different than those anticipated at the time of

the allocation, the OM&R allocation is adjusted accordingly.
The multipurpose OM&R cost of the main-stem units is allocated
by the Corps on the basis of the original allocation to all
authorized project functiona and is not adjusted at the

present time to reflect current use.

Projects in the Western Division were authorized over a

considerably longer period of time and different methods

28
