The states of Iowa and Minnesota are considered as parts <br /> <br />of the project area for power marketing purposes. Missouri is the tenth <br /> <br />basin state. The Map No. X-W-7 that follows shows the geographical area <br /> <br />plus the system power facilities. <br /> <br />The P-S MEP is a multiple-purpose water resource development being <br /> <br />undertaken jointly by the United States and the states of the basin. <br /> <br />The Departments of the Interior and Army share major responsibilities <br /> <br />for action programs at the Federal level.
