APD PRIORITY <br /> <br />The residents of Hotchkiss are currently faced with an unhealthy <br />wate~ supply and with a system which is in immediate need of repair <br />or replacement. Although the water supply is of sufficient quantity <br />for some years, the existing storage, distribution and treatment facil- <br /> <br />ities need upgrading immediately. In addition, it is considered <br />essential to install universal metering as a water conservation measure. <br />It is therefore recommended that the interim Hotchkiss municipal <br />water supply project as herein described be constructed by this board <br />to the extent of $570,000 u[-on the provision that the town of Hotchkiss <br />furnish additional financing to the extent of $1,006,250 and that the <br />project be recommended and submitted to the Colorado General Assembly <br />during the 1977 session as priority number eleven. <br /> <br />FLS :mm <br /> <br />0323 <br /> <br />-4- <br />
