<br />001068 <br /> <br />\ <br /> <br />suoh projeots the servioes of the Corps of Engineers shall be utilized to the <br />extent deemed feasible by the board: Provided, That any invention or discovery <br />made by virtue of and inoidental to suoh service by an employee of the Govern- <br />ment of the United States serving under this seotion, or by a~ employee of the <br />oorporation, together with any patents whioh may be granted thereon, shall be <br />the sole and exolusive property of the Corporation, whioh, is hereby authorized <br />to grant suoh lioenses thereunder as shall be authorized by the Board: Provided <br />further. That the board may pay to suoh inventor suoh sum from the inoome from <br />the sale of lioenses as it may deem proper. <br /> <br />(i) Shall have po'Nllr to produoe, distribute, and sell electric po'Nllr <br />and water as herein particularly speoified: Provided, That no produots of the <br />Corporation shall be sold for use outside of the United States, its Territories, <br />and possessions, except to the United States GoveMllllent for the use of its Army <br />and Navy, or to its allies in case of war. <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />(j) Shall have power to advise and cooperate in the readjustment of the <br />population displaced by the oonstruction of dams. the acquisition of reservoir <br />areas, the proteotion of watersheds, the acquisition of rights..of....ro.y, r)nd <br />other naoessar)' o.oquiGitions of' land, in order to effectuate' the purposec of <br />this li.ctl c.nd f"o.y cooperate ','J.th Federnl, Stato, and local agencies to that <br />end. <br /> <br />(k) Shall have power to enter into such contraots and agreements, and to <br />exeroise such powers and do such things as may be necessary or appropriate to <br />oarry out the powers now or herea:N;er oonferred upon it by law. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />SEe. 6. (a) The Corporation shall be held to be an inhabitant and <br />resident, within the meaning of the laws of the United States relating to the <br />venue of civil suits, of the judicial distriot in whioh its prinoipal office <br />is located at the time of the commencement of suit. The district courts of <br />the United States shall have original jurisdiction vdthout regard to the <br />amount in controversy, over any prooeeding brought by or against the Corporation. <br />Any proceeding brought against the Corporation in a oourt of any State may be <br />removed by the Corporation to the distriot court of the United States for the <br />district in which the prooeeding is pending, and, to effeot suoh removal, it <br />shall not be necessary that any other party or parties defendant join in the <br />petition for removal.
