The Amity Mutual Irrigation Company 1520 The Resolution Committee reported as follows: HESOLUTION "BE IT RI.:SOLVED, that the Stockholders of the Amity Mutual Irrigation Company do extend our sincere sympathies to the families and relatives of Charley McComas, Elsie Cox, .John I<alma, R. W. Sicklebower, Ho:y Williams, Marion H. Durham, who have become deceased the past .year. We have enjoyed working with these, our members. as co-workers for OUf sJ'.':ltem and in our community and their contributions to their communities will be forever remembered. Be it further resolved, that copies of this resolution shall be given to the newspapers and sent to their families as a token of our respect." RESOLUTIO'J "WHEREAS, Pursuant to the terms of the decree in the certain suit in Bent County," Colorado in which the Fort Lyon Canal Company was plaintiff and the Amity Mutual Irrigation Company was defendant, the terms thereof proved that th~ rates of division of the expenses sho\llrl remain at the amounts fixed by said decree until November 1st, 1967, and whereas no additional regular meeting of the Stockholders will occur between now and said date: "NOW THERE FORE BE IT RESOL VE D, that the Stock- holders do hereby authorize its Board oC Directors, Officers and Attornej' to take anj" and all action deemed necessary or expedient, or refrain from action, as may seem most exped- ient to them for the interest of the Company. and to ratify and confirm the acts of the Directors, Officers, and Attorney in such matters as may be adjusted or determined therein."
