Mr. Larson stated that the Colorado River Basin States Committee <br />had under discussion the use of C,H.D. and other funds for investigation <br />of potential projects within the Upper Colorado River Basin, Since the <br />efforts of the Basin States Committee may have some influence on the amount <br />of funds that will be available to conduct investigations in Western Colorado, <br />he suggested that the work of the Steering Committee will need be coordinated <br />with the Colorado River Basin States Committee. Mr, Larson informed the <br />committee that in the future Mr. Jex will need to devote a considerable share <br />of his time to preconstruction organization on the Paonia Project.
