<br />Minutes of Previous Meetin~s
<br />
<br />2. The meeting was called to order at 8:20 a.m., October 20, 1947,
<br />and Mr. Riter reviewed the draft of minutes for the series of meetings
<br />held August 22-27, 1947, and brought up for discussion a number of suggestions
<br />for changes in the minutes made by members of the committee and their
<br />advisors. A number of suggested minor modifications in the minutes were
<br />discussed and approved. A suggested. new paragraph 26 was prepared, discussed,
<br />and approved. This new paragraph briefly describes a comprehensive plan
<br />being investigated by the Grand Junction office, for development of the
<br />irrigation and power potentialities within the Gunnison Basin, Colorado,
<br />
<br />3. It was agreed that following each meeting the Secretary would
<br />prepare a draft of the minutes of such meeting and send them to the committee
<br />members for review and for discussion at the mext meeting. It was agreed
<br />also that no publicity would be given to the minutes of the Stael"ing Committee
<br />and that the approved minutes would be distributed only to the committee
<br />members for use by their advisors as follows:
