"Flood Problems and Hurricanes" and "Water Supply
and Quality Problems in Small Cities and Rural Communities as a
Consequence of Implementing the 1974 Safe Drinking Water Act."

Five problems, "Irrigation Water Supply and Q\!ality Problems
in the Pecos Valley and Adjacent Areas," "Wild and Scenic River
along the Rio Grande Valley," "Water Supply and Related Problems
in the Lower Rio Grande Valley," "Water Supply and Quality Problems
in Small Cities and Rural COllU1lunities as .a Consequence of Implement-
ing the 1974 Safe Drinking Water Act," and "Flood Problems and
Hurricanes" are now considered Group A problems. The problem "Water
Supply and Related Q\!ality Problems in the El Paso Area" is being
investigated and is now considered a Group B problem.

While all six problems are of concern to Texas ,the Group B
problems are so classed because they are being adequately addressed
by an ongoing or recently completed study with timely solutions
proposed by either Federal or non-Federal entities. "Group AI,' prob-
lems are so considered by Texas because they are currently unresolved
and are not being adequately addressed by an ongoing or recently
completed study and with no timely results or actions by either Federal
or non-Federal entities.

2
