Gen. Hans Kramer <br /> <br />USA-Ret., Representative of the United States, presiding. Participating <br /> <br />in the meeting were Colorado Canunissioners Henry C. Vidal of Denver, <br /> <br />Chairman, C. L. Patterson, Denver and H. B. Mendenhall, Rocky Ford; and <br /> <br />Kansas Commissioners Ceo. S. Knapp of Topeka, Chairman, A. B. Mitchell, <br /> <br />Topeka, W. E. Leavitt, Garden City and R. H. Tat.., Carden City. Clii'i'ord <br /> <br />H. Stone, Director, Colorado Water Conservation Board and W. L. Nee, <br /> <br />Assistant Attorney General of Kansas also partioipated in the delib"r- <br /> <br />ati ons oi' the Canunissi on. <br /> <br />The Commission heard and approved a progress report i'rom its <br /> <br />Committee on Engineering Data and Studies. When oompleted, the results <br /> <br />of the various engineering studies in whioh this Committee is enf,aged are <br /> <br />expeoted to form the basis i'or formulating the terms of a per~nent oompaot <br /> <br />between Colorado and Kansas. <br /> <br />Also heard and disoussed Juring the Commissio~ meeting was <br /> <br />a report from its Canunittee on Legal Arfairs. Study of th" many diffioult <br /> <br />legal problems facing the Commission is b"ing continued with a view tc <br /> <br />finding aooeptable solutions cf the oomplex issues involved. <br /> <br />Meetin~s of the two standing oommittees, Enf,ins"ring and Legal, <br /> <br />are oont"mplated for the ensuir.g weeks in pr"parlltion for the next meeting <br /> <br />of the Commissi on which is soheduled to be held at ~ I )G.
