In all other months the:

sums will always be 100%,

HOW does one use Program PR? First, program PR may be use4

to assist in the evaluation of a water right by quickly reviewiq~

the in-priority/out-of-priority statistics. Second, one may use.

the program together with diversion records, to define

.out-of-priority. diversions, a task which is sometimes done in

limiting ~he use of a water right whose character is being

changed under Water Court proceedings, Third, Program PR allows'

a quick, visual interpretation to be made of periods during whie~

a given water right may not be counted on to deliver a dependabl~

supply of water. For example, Figure A-Sd reveals that there is.

a 2-year period (1954 and 19S5) that the West Ditch may not be

able to deliver a dependable supply. If this water right were to

be used i~ a plan for augmentation, it would appear that some

other sou~ce, such as carryover storage for two years, at a

minimum, ~ould be necessary.

In summary, Program PR analyzes the historic, in-priority/

out-of-priority status of any water right in ~ water district,

based on divisional calls, in an efficient manner, with clearly

detailed printouts.

Ppogpam CUYPRI

Program CUMPRI allocates in-priority entitlements to divert

water for several water rights on a cumulative, in-priority

basis.
