Article VIII <br />G (2) requests the Director of the United Slales Geological <br />Survey, the Commissioner of the United States Bureau of <br />Reclamation, and the Chief of the Engineers. United Slates <br />Army, to cooperate and collaborate with the Administration and <br />with appropriate State officials in such determinations and <br />correia lions of stream flow and related data, Under the By- <br />Laws of the Administration, these cooperative studies and ae- <br />livilies are assigned to the Engineering Committee of the <br />Administration <br /> <br />{bl During the year covered by this report the Administration has <br />received excellent cooperation {rom all agencies referred to in <br />the foregoing provisions of the Compact. The United States <br />Geological Survey has continued the operation of the compact <br />gaging stations and the analysis and compilation of the <br />hydrologic data presented in this report and used in the ad- <br />ministration of the Compact. The Corps of Engineers continued <br />to operate the conservation pool of John Martin Reservoir in <br />accordance with the terms o{ the Compact and the orders of the <br />Administration, <br /> <br />8 Water Supply, Reservoir Operation, and Hydrologic Data, <br /> <br />The winter storage season for John Martin Reservoir began on <br />November I, 1974 at 12:01 a,m., with the reservoir empty, <br /> <br />A demand for river flow was made by Colorado and released <br />November 1, 1974 at 12:0] a.m" Colorado river flow demands were <br />altered frequently during the months or November and December due <br />to inclement weather and to accomodate conSlructi.on work on the new <br />concrete control being built below the dam, Colorado river now <br />releases averaged about 19 cfs during November and about 10 cfs <br />during Decemher on days of Colorado demand, The gates were clooed <br />on December 26, 1974 and remained closed until February 25, 1975 <br />when they were again opened to satisfy a Colorado river flow demand <br />of t2 cfs.
