The SJWC wil~ hold its portion of the permit and the wate= rights in confor-aity with applicable law and for the purposes of the revised project. It is the intent of this provision to place the New Mexico participants in the s~e position as the Colorado parties with respect to the project. The parties contemplate that the l:r=fer of ownership ....ill be aCCOlllPlished through an agreement between the s.JWC a.nd the Deparbaent of Interior.
