The Dur~go meeting will be Wednesday, <br /> <br />January 12th at 7:00 PM in the South Room of the Extension Building. Friday, <br /> <br />January 14th the workshop will be present in Denver in Room 110 of the n~ <br /> <br />Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street. <br /> <br />At the workshops, the Study Team's Wild and Scenic River Eligibility <br /> <br />findings for the Piedra River will be presented along with the proposed <br /> <br />potential alternatives for the future management of the Piedra Planning Unit. <br /> <br />The U.S. Forest Service has not at this time selected any management alternativ <br /> <br />for the Study and the purpose of the workshops is to allow the public to r~vie~ <br /> <br />the findings and discuss the future management alternatives. <br /> <br />An information packet on the combined wild and scenic river and planning <br /> <br />unit study is available from Forest Service offices in Durango and Pagosa <br /> <br />Springs or by writing: walt ~erner.
