A small, forested wetland occupies 0.3 <br />acres of Wetland 1. The total wetland area for this reach is 30.1 acres. <br /> <br />3.10.1.9 Reach 9 <br /> <br />Reach 9 extends from the East Canal diversion site to the sewage treatment ponds north <br />of Olathe. Wetland 11 consists of riverbank communities and those located in former <br />riverbeds on the east side of the existing channel of the Uncompahgre River. Atypical <br />situations comprise 1.8 acres ofthis wetland. Wetland J, on the west side, consists of 1.5 <br />acres of diSturbed areas. Both wetlands in this reach exhibit P/E/P and P/SS/BLD <br />characteristics. The total area for this reach is 40.3 acres. <br /> <br />3.10.1.10 Reach 10 <br /> <br />Reach 10 extends from the water treatment facility north of Olathe to the Garnet Canal <br />diversion site and includes Wetland 12 on the east and Wetland K on the west. Total <br />wetland area for this reach is 85.4 acres with 8.1 acres consisting of atypical situations. <br />Both wetlands have P/E/P and P/SS/BLD communities. <br /> <br />3.10.1.11 Reach 11 <br /> <br />Reach 11 extends from the Garnet Canal diversion site to just north of a bridge associated <br />with Delta County Road B. Wetland 13 is on the east and Wetland L is on the west side <br />of the Uncompahgre River. Both wetlands exhibit P/E/P and P/SS/BLD qualities. The <br />total area of wetlands for this reach is 11.4 acres. <br /> <br />3.10.1.12 Reach 12 <br /> <br />Reach 12 extends from the meander north of Delta County Road 17 to the confluence of <br />Dry Creek with the Uncompahgre River and includes Wetland 15 (east) and Wetland M <br />(west). Wetland classifications for this reach include P/E/P and P/SS/BLD communities. <br />This reach contains 76.7 acres of wetlands. In Wetland 14, a section of riverbank has <br />been modified by earth movement and accounts for approximately 0.2 acres of disturbed <br />area. <br /> <br />3.10.1.13 Reach 13 <br /> <br />Reach 13 extends from the confluence of Dry Creek and the Uncompahgre River to north <br />of the Delta County Road 16 crossing. Wetlands 15, N (Dry Creek), and 0 comprise 39.3 <br />acres of wetlands in this reach. Each contains P/E/P and P/SS/BLD wetland <br />communities.
