<br />nOl S !)()4ffected Environment & Consequences <br /> <br />3-38 <br /> <br />3.10.1.2 Reach 2 <br /> <br />Reach 2 extends from the canal-outlet associated with an artificial lake at the north end of <br />Reach 1 to the Selig Canal diversion site. It includes Wetland 2 (east bank) and Wetland <br />B (west bank). Wetland R is associated with Happy Canyon Creek, a perennial tributary <br />to the Uncompahgre. A total of 23.3 acres of wetlands exist within this reach. Wetlands <br />are characterized as both P/SS/BLD and P/E/P wetland types.
