<br />o <br />n <br />~ <br />Q <br />.c- <br />eo <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />CHAPTER II <br />ACTIVITIES <br /> <br />Main Committee <br /> <br />The Arkansas-White-Red Basins Interagency Committee met on two <br />occasions during the reporting year. <br /> <br />Meetinq Number <br /> <br />Meetinq Date <br /> <br />Location <br /> <br />126th <br />127th <br /> <br />October 29-30, 1990 <br />June 5-6, 1991 <br /> <br />Santa Fe, New Mexico <br />Little Rock, Arkansas <br /> <br />The meetings consisted of one full day and one half day sessions. <br />Both meetings were scheduled and coordinated by the Administrative <br />Committee in cooperation with the AWRBIAC member representing the <br />host state. The details of each meeting were recorded in the minutes <br />which were distributed to the members, participants, and other <br />interested individuals. Prepared papers, standing committee reports, <br />five-minute reports on current activities of the state and,federal <br />agencies, and other pertinent documents were appended to the minutes <br />of the 126th meeting, or attached to the annual report for the 127th <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Administrative Committee <br /> <br />The Administrative .Committee met on two occasions during the <br />reporting period. The committee formulated the meeting agendas, <br />selected meeting sites, reviewed correspondence, and responded to <br />other related AWRBIAC inquiries. Minutes of the meetings were <br />included as an appendix to the regular AWRBIAC minutes. <br /> <br />Standinq Committees: <br /> <br />Exchanqe of Proqram Information Committee. This Committee was <br />inactive during the reporting period. <br /> <br />Comprehensive Planninq Committee. This Committee was activated at <br />the 127th Meeting in Little Rock, Arkansas, by resolution to consider <br />master planning. The charge to the Committee was to investigate: <br /> <br />1. alternative types of basin-wide and main stem master plans <br /> <br />2. issues that could be addressed in a master plan <br /> <br />3. organizational structure that could be used in a master <br />planning process <br /> <br />4. alternative funding mechanisms <br /> <br />-4- <br />
