o n ~ Q .c- eo r CHAPTER II ACTIVITIES Main Committee The Arkansas-White-Red Basins Interagency Committee met on two occasions during the reporting year. Meetinq Number Meetinq Date Location 126th 127th October 29-30, 1990 June 5-6, 1991 Santa Fe, New Mexico Little Rock, Arkansas The meetings consisted of one full day and one half day sessions. Both meetings were scheduled and coordinated by the Administrative Committee in cooperation with the AWRBIAC member representing the host state. The details of each meeting were recorded in the minutes which were distributed to the members, participants, and other interested individuals. Prepared papers, standing committee reports, five-minute reports on current activities of the state and,federal agencies, and other pertinent documents were appended to the minutes of the 126th meeting, or attached to the annual report for the 127th meeting. Administrative Committee The Administrative .Committee met on two occasions during the reporting period. The committee formulated the meeting agendas, selected meeting sites, reviewed correspondence, and responded to other related AWRBIAC inquiries. Minutes of the meetings were included as an appendix to the regular AWRBIAC minutes. Standinq Committees: Exchanqe of Proqram Information Committee. This Committee was inactive during the reporting period. Comprehensive Planninq Committee. This Committee was activated at the 127th Meeting in Little Rock, Arkansas, by resolution to consider master planning. The charge to the Committee was to investigate: 1. alternative types of basin-wide and main stem master plans 2. issues that could be addressed in a master plan 3. organizational structure that could be used in a master planning process 4. alternative funding mechanisms -4-
