Organize county association governing body. <br /> <br />a. President <br />b. Vice President <br />c. Secretary <br />d. Executive Committee <br />e. ~epresentatives to serve on the area watershed association group. <br /> <br />2. The cO\lllty association group should be a 'lorting body to the extent they ,rill <br /> <br />assemble all kno,~ facts, insofar as possible, regarding the water situation in <br /> <br />their county. This information should include data on agricultural, domestic <br /> <br />and industrial uses of ,rater. <br /> <br />In assembling the needed inform~tion on the water situation in the county, the <br /> <br />follcming may serve as guides: <br /> <br />a. Total volume of water in the county. <br /> <br />1. Tr~s can include water stored in reservoirs as well as that in the <br /> <br />streams. <br /> <br />b. How and in ,lhat a.'l\ounts is this uater allocated. for use: <br /> <br />1. How mUc~ is used fo~ agricultural, domestic, and industrial purposes. <br /> <br />2. How much of the water in the county, or flouing through the county is <br /> <br />allocated? <br /> <br />3. lIow muc~ of the uator used in the county comes from uells? <br /> <br />:'\ <br />~10 <br />"y <br /> <br />a. It uould be helpful to know ho,l many wells are in operation and the <br />number divided into the uses made of the ,rater--such as irrigation <br />municipal, etc. <br /> <br />b. Is the underground water supply remaining constant, decreasing or <br />increasing? <br /> <br />c. Is the amount of water allocated for all uses in the county adequate? <br /> <br />1. Are there periods of the year ,Ihen the supply is inadequate for all <br /> <br />uses? <br /> <br />2. Are there adequate storage facilities to take care of present needs? <br /> <br />(7339-55) <br />
