The schedule was updated to reflect the proposed Special Meeting <br />for July 23rd to review the status of the California Plan. <br /> <br />Fiscal Year 1997-98 Budl!:et <br /> <br />Included in the Board folder are copies of Standard Agreement No. 28 and a resolution <br />approving the funding arrangements for the Board's Fiscal Year 1997-98 Budget. The Colorado <br />River Board's budget for Fiscal Year 1997-98 is $ 1,077,000 verses last years budget of$ 1,072,000. <br />The state's General Fund will allocate $ 209,000, the California Environmental License Plate Fund <br />will provide $ 15,000, and the remaining $ 853,000 by the Six Agency Committee. <br /> <br />SB 206. Colorado River Board: Office <br /> <br />SB 206 introduced by Senator Ayala concerning the location of the Colorado River Board's <br />office was approved in the State Senate on April 7th and sent to the Assembly. A hearing was <br />scheduled before the Assembly Local Government Committee on May 14th, but was postponed to <br />June 18,1997 at 1:30p.m. <br /> <br />PROTECTION OF EXISTING RIGHTS <br /> <br />Colorado River Water Re.port <br /> <br />During April 1997, storage in the major Upper Basin reservoirs increased by 159,000 acre- <br />feet and storage in the Lower Basin reservoirs increased by 148,000 acre-feet. Total System active <br />storage at the end of April was 49.343 million acre-feet (mat), which is 0.299 mafless than one year <br />ago, <br /> <br />May releases from Hoover, Davis, and Parker Darns averaged 20,120, 19,130 and 13,810, <br />cubic feet per second (cfs), respectively. Planned releases from those three dams for the month of <br />June are 17,260, 17,430, and 14,000 cfs, respectively. The June planned releases represent <br />downstream water requirements. <br />
