Crop Layer Edits Pull-Down Menu

The Crop Layer Edits pull-down menu allows you to assign crops to fields, split fields, merge fields,
consolidate fields into farms, and assign wells to farms. This function uses the "crop.shp" and "farm.shp"
themes.

6.1 Convert to SPMAP Crop Theme

If you already have a crop theme that has a field called "Type" populated with the crop types (i,e. corn,
wheat, etc,), then you can convert the theme to be compatible with the SPMAP formal. This will involve
adding some additional fields that are needed to run the CU Model.

I. Select the crop theme you want to converL

2. Select the Crop Layer Edits> Convert to SPMAP Crop Theme option.

Sometimes you will need to split one large field into two smaller fields, This tool allows you to draw a
line dividing a field, You can make the line with as many vertices as you want. After the fields have been
split, you can reassign crop types as described below.
