Prior-to-release.--Obtain ETR samples on about February <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />26, March 11, 25, and April 8 (last sample to be <br /> <br />obtained just prior to release) at all seven sites. <br /> <br />b. During rise in river stage resulting from release from <br /> <br />reservoir obtain about 6 ETR samples at the five siteS <br /> <br />dm.mstream from the reservoir. These '.Jill have to be <br /> <br />obtaiued very rapidly because of the sharp release from <br /> <br />the reservoir. Daily samples to be obtained at tl"O <br /> <br />upstream stations. <br /> <br />c. After stage has stabilized obtain daily samples at all <br /> <br />sites until about 3 days after reservoir is empty. <br /> <br />Then obtain a weekly sample for 3 weeks. <br /> <br />d. Sedissnt samples will be analyzed for both concentration <br /> <br />and size. <br /> <br />4. Manpower requirements. <br /> <br />a. Reconnaissance. locating sites, setting <br /> <br />Man days <br />6 <br /> <br />staff gages, etc. <br /> <br />b. Prior to release <br />1 man for 2 days for 3 trips <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />During release <br />3 men 3 days to measure <br />canal head gate sites <br /> <br />I <br />flow at above <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />5 sediment sampling men for 3 days <br />during initial rise <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />2 sediment sampling men for sampling. <br />daily (est. 5 days until reservoir <br />goes empty and 3 days after) <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />1 man for 2 days per week for 3 weeks <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />d. Collection and transporting samples <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />~ <br />
